It’s summer time of 1980 at East Germany and, independently, Barbara is restricted to working and living as a physician in a tiny provincial town – her punishment for wanting to confer with the West. She’s just a single attention; to flee and to get this, she’s to await patiently. Until Andre, her manager in a medical facility, takes off her path. Are his reasons of love or obligation to the government? The daily pretense, and articles oversight slowly take their toll as the stress builds.
